Mathbot is made by Cortona Media, LLC. If something is broken, confusing or missing, write to us — there is no ticket system and no bot in the way.
We aim to reply within two business days. Helpful things to include: which device (iPhone, iPad, Mac, Android phone or Android tablet), the operating-system version, the Mathbot version from Settings ▸ About & Privacy, and what you were doing when it went wrong.
Common questions
I bought it on my iPhone — how do I get it on the Mac?
Mathbot is a universal purchase. Open the Mac App Store, sign in with the same Apple Account, search for Mathbot and it will offer to install rather than to buy. The iPad version is already included too.
My child's top scores disappeared
Scores are stored on the device only, and are never uploaded anywhere. Deleting and reinstalling the app clears them, and they do not transfer between devices — that is the trade-off for collecting no data at all.
The countdown is too fast for my child
Choose Easy on the home screen — it has no countdown at all. On Normal and Hard, you can also turn off Shorten Timed Rounds in Settings so every question keeps its full starting time.
Where are the sound settings?
Tap the gear icon on the home screen or during a run. Sound effects start switched off; vibration has a separate switch. Opening Settings pauses the current question until you close Settings.
Can I use a keyboard?
Yes, on Mac and on an iPad with a hardware keyboard. Return starts a run from the title screen, the number keys 1–4 pick the answers in reading order, and Escape closes the rules and Settings.
Does it run on Android tablets?
Yes. The Android version is designed for phones and tablets. When it launches on Google Play, one purchase will cover both. Use the same Google account or your Google Play family group. On a tablet the board and level list appear side by side, as on iPad.
Refunds
Purchases are handled entirely by Apple and Google, so refunds go through them — reportaproblem.apple.com for the App Store, or Google Play's order history for Android. We never see your payment details.
